I have a question/ had this problem and had teeth removed- edge to edge vite w ant crossbite. I opted for jaw surgery due to several reasons- now mid forties, had teeth in braces ready for bsso leforte and everyone in my family now wants camo ortho. I was going to one of the best surgeons in Ca (top 3) what do you think? I wanted best underlying results and felt healthy…. But everyone wants me to go backwards and do camp now

Why pull out top premolar 2nd and not 1st?

Wow I learnt a lot from this case. It’s a genius move by fixing the issue at Centric Relation rather than MIP. Opening the bite definitely helped retract the lower segment. The genius of self ligation also worked well.

Hello doc, im from indonesia I have already put on braces. Before I put on braces, my first molar on the lower right side was already extracted when I was 13 years old. Should I also extract the first molar on the lower left side for balance? But my orthodontist suggested extracting the wisdom tooth on the lower left side, but I don't like it when my teeth are not balanced. Aren't first molars bigger than other molars? What is your opinion?
